As happy as we become after finishing a piece of work, this piece is making us at Bayanat sad for it touches 13 million lives at stake in the drought and famine in East Africa.
Helpless as we are, we thought of doing an infographic hoping that it may ignite some people to actively participate to relief the pain people at the horn of Africa feels everyday struggling with hunger and death in face of their worst drought in 60 years.
As we are living in a world bombarded with technology, solutions, apps...etc, food is taken for granted. No one ever thought that one day he might have to walk for a 100 miles looking for food and shelter which is not unlikely given the way earth's climate is changing and the way wars and conflicts are spreading. So, let's not take our lives for granted, let's take a moment to reflect and live graciously for every moment and be compassionate about the challenged ones who struggle for their next breathe.
Let's not forget our fellow human beings!!
